Check-in and Check-out Hours
Check-out time is 11am each morning, check-in time each day is 1pm each afternoon. We will try to be flexible with check-in and out times. However, dogs checked out after 11am or checked in before 1pm are subject to being created until their room is prepared. 11am to 1pm are the hours we sanitize and clean each room in preparation for the next guest occupying that room.

What Are The Holiday Hours?
We observe the following holidays. Lobby hours are as follows:
(Rest assured there is still boarding staff here working in the back taking good care of your fur-babies!)
New Year's Eve: 9am-3pm
New Years Day:9am-3pm
Easter: Lobby Lobby Closed
Memorial Day: 9am-3pm
Fourth of July: 9am-3pm
Labor Day: 9am-3pm
Thanksgiving: Lobby Closed
Christmas Eve: 9am-3pm
Christmas Day: Lobby Closed
During the holidays, we require a stay of at least three days. A nonrefundable deposit is also required at the time of booking.
There will be no daycare or daystay programs running during these holidays.
We do not accept drop-offs or pick-ups on days our lobby is closed.
Is There a Fee For Dogs Who Can Not Socialize With Other Dogs?
Our potty and playtimes are group-based. We typically group dogs with other like-minded, like-size dogs, in groups of 5-12 dogs. The size of the group depends on the energy level and size of dogs playing in that particular group. Starting May 1st, 2022 if we feel a dog is unsafe for group play, or if parents are requesting individual care requiring one-on-one staff time, we will need to assess a $12 per day fee. This fee is due to the labor-intensive nature of individual potty and playtimes.
What Are The Vaccination Requirements?
Please email all vaccination records at least 2 weeks in advance to Vaccinations@PawsPetResort.com
If your vaccinations are not current, your reservation will be canceled. All new vaccinations should be given a minimum of one week prior to your boarding or daycare reservation.
Dogs: (including puppies four months and older): Rabies, DHPP, and Bordatella. We also strongly encourage CIV (canine influenza vaccination) and the lepto vaccination.
Cats: Rabies, FELV, and FVRCP
Self-administered vaccinations will not be accepted. If you do not have vaccination records from a veterinarian, we will require titer testing to be done at a vet's office prior to reservations being created.
What should I Bring For Personal Items?
Feel free to bring personal items for your pet, including food. (See food section for specifications)
Dogs: One or two toys, a bed that can easily fit into a washing machine, leash, collar, and food.
Please do not bring rope toys, rawhide bones, or food/water dishes.
Cats: Carrier labeled with your name, food, and treats.
Please note: Sometimes dogs are wonderfully weird. They chew when they don't chew at home, and they may mark their belongings when they don't mark at home. We are not responsible for damage to any personal items you choose to send with your pet.
Do I Bring Food?
Please provide your pet's food for your stay at Paws Pet Resort. This ensures your pet remains on the food they enjoy and that their stomach tolerates well. Please bring the food pre-measured in containers or bags (one meal per container). If you choose to bring food in one bag, please clearly label the bag with feeding instructions. Due to lack of storage space, please do not bring whole bags of food.
If you forget your pet's food, we will provide food for $2 per day.
What About Medications and Special Diets?
Accommodating special diets is no problem! We can refrigerate food and treats. We will gladly administer your pet's oral medications at no additional charge. If your pet has extensive medical needs, you may be asked to participate in our Special Care Program at an additional cost of $20 per day. We do not administer injectable medications at this time.
Special Care Program
Some pets require that extra level of care. This program is perfect for those who need extra medical attention, breeds that can't be admitted to regular kennel programs, in-heat females, and other special situations that may be very labor-intensive.
Special care is an additional $20 per day.
As part of this program, your pet can be kept separate from the other animals in our care, if you wish. They will receive one-on-one attention, playtime, and potty breaks throughout the day.
What About Injuries & Accidents?
We take every precaution to keep your pet safe. However, animals can be unpredictable and accidents do happen. In that event, you will be notified immediately and your pet will be taken to All City Pet Care Emergency Hospital (unless you specify otherwise). Please note dogs play with their mouth and their paws. That fun can lead to scratches and abrasions.
What if I need to Cancel Daycare or Daystay?
We understand that needing to cancel a reservation happens. Life gets busy and plans can change unexpectedly. To help ensure we are able to fill the open spot, we ask for advanced notice on cancellations for Daycare or Day Stay reservations.
48 Hours+: If you need to cancel your reservation more than 48 hours in advance no charges will be assessed.
Less than 48-hour Cancellation Notice: Cancelations with less than a 48-hour notice, will receive a $15 cancelation fee. Canceling on short notice does not allow adequate time to fill the open spot with someone else. Canceling two days in advance gives us the entire next day to fill the space.
For example, if you have a reservation set for Friday you will need to cancel by Wednesday to avoid cancellation fees.
Same-Day or No-Show Cancellation: Cancelations on the day of will be charged the full charge of $30. If the client has daycare punches, one day will be deducted from their package.
Multiple Dog Households: Cancellation fees will apply for both sibling dogs who attend on the same day. Please note if you’re canceling for multiple dogs through our online portal, each reservation will need to be canceled individually.
What about weather cancelations?
We are open rain, shine, or snow! Because we have many clients who rely on us during all kinds of weather (nurses, doctors, city workers..) we are staffed and open regardless of weather conditions. Winter storms are typically predicated several days in advance. If you are worried about winter weather and your ability to get to your appointment, be cautious and cancel in advance. This will allow you to avoid cancelation fees and to allow us to best staff during winter situations.
What about personal or sickness cancelations?
Although we empathize, we do require a 48-hour notice. With adequate notice, we can work to fill the open spot. With less than a 48-hour notice, filling the reservation or adjusting staffing is difficult.

We request all cancellations be made 48 hours in advance. We require one week's notice if your reservation is scheduled over a holiday. You will lose the security deposit for cancellations made outside the allotted time frame.
