Job description
We are looking for someone who is wanting to learn about dog training. People who would make a great candidate have great people skills, willing to learn new training practices, responsible, reliable, and have a strong work ethic. It's not just about training dogs, we train our clients as well, this ensures they will have a well-trained dog for years to come! It is important that you are good at both. This job will also include hours with socializing dogs, cleaning, feeding, and working with dogs of all ages.
It is important you are motivated to learn and have compassion for teaching dogs manners. This position will be customer facing, so strong customer service and professionalism is mandatory.

Able to take directions, adaptable ability to further your training education

Paws Pet Resort does not expect you to have years of experience as a professional dog trainer but if your experience is with your own private dogs, your training ability should have produced the dog to be off-leash, good recall in distractions, should be able to be around other dogs/ people without re-activity, have a strong command of your dog.
